The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is a primary document created by the United Nations General Assembly to promote the everlasting freedom of human rights, and the many principles that apply to human beings. The 30 principles were written in a two year time span by a drafting committee made up of nine international UN delegates from all separate countries.

Following the bloody horror of World War II, and that ever sickening genocide of the Holocaust. Multiple nations of the world got together where they created a new international organization that would promote humanity in every shape and form. This organization would become to be known as, the United Nations.
